The University of Ljubljana, founded in 1919, is Slovenia's oldest and largest university. Students from non-EU countries without a bilateral agreement pay tuition set by each faculty: in 2026-27, EUR 3,400 a year for the English-taught Business and Economics bachelor's, EUR 4,000 to EUR 4,700 for most English-taught masters, and EUR 14,700 for Computer and Information Science. The first non-EU bachelor's application period ran from 18 February to 18 March 2026.
