University of Dar es Salaam Tuition Fees 2026

The University of Dar es Salaam's 2026/2027 undergraduate admission booklet lists tuition for Tanzanian and non-Tanzanian nationals. Non-Tanzanian undergraduates pay TZS 9,275,000 a year for Computer Science and other College of ICT degrees (against TZS 1,500,000), TZS 7,155,000 for degrees such as Diplomatic Studies and Archaeology and Geography, and TZS 5,565,000 for most humanities degrees, plus other annual fees of TZS 351,300. Postgraduate tuition in 2026/2027 is set for three groups: Tanzania, EAC and SADC nationals, the rest of Africa, and the rest of the world. For example, the full-time MBA costs TZS 8,500,000, TZS 12,750,000 or TZS 20,100,000, and the MSc in Water Resources Engineering TZS 4,781,500, TZS 7,172,250 or TZS 15,075,000. International postgraduates also pay a student levy of TZS 750,000 a year for master's and TZS 1,000,000 for PhD programmes. The non-Tanzanian postgraduate application fee is TZS 125,000.
