Universidad de los Andes admits undergraduates for the first semester of 2027 (2027-10) through an application form that opens on 21 July and closes on 7 December 2026, with admitted lists published in rounds and the last list on 16 December. The second round closed on 21 September, and Medicine and Psychology may close early once places fill. Postgraduate programmes set their own application dates, and the 2026 postgraduate application fee is COP 357,000. Undergraduate tuition in 2026 is COP 26,860,000 a semester for most programmes and COP 38,220,000 for Medicine, and master's programmes are priced per credit, such as COP 2,260,000 a credit for the MBA. The university updates 2027 prices from 14 October 2026 by adding projected inflation. Teaching is mainly in Spanish; undergraduates must show B2 English reading before completing 80 credits, and master's programmes with a language requirement ask for TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.5. The Beca Preferente covers 5% to 50% of undergraduate tuition in named programmes. Once enrolled, every undergraduate also takes a compulsory Spanish course.
