Cost of Studying in Colombia (2027) for International Students

Foreign students in Colombia need a visitor visa (type V) in the student category, valid for up to two years, with proof of admission, health insurance and funds. Postgraduate students may work up to 20 hours a week, and graduates with doctorates, or undergraduates in skills-shortage fields, can apply for a work visa. At Universidad de los Andes, 2026 undergraduate tuition is COP 26,860,000 a semester, and first-semester 2027 applications close on 7 December 2026.
