Admission at a glance

The University of Georgia keeps registration open all year and has two intakes in every academic year, in Fall and Spring, with no admission deadline. International applicants send a passport scan, their high school certificate (or bachelor's diploma for a master's programme), a two-minute video, a photo and the receipt for the USD 170 application fee. The fee is waived for applicants who provide a Georgian translation of their documents together with a receipt for the 250 GEL payment to Georgia's National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. Applicants then take online exams in English and a programme-specific test, and receive an official enrollment notification after the tests. Applicants must prove English at B2 level or equivalent, unless they come from a country where English is a mother tongue, and those without a certificate sit the university's English examination. The tuition page lists English-taught bachelor's programmes at USD 4,000 (for example Business Administration, Nursing and Computer Science) to USD 5,000 (Cybersecurity Engineering), master's programmes at USD 4,000 to USD 5,000, Dentistry at USD 6,000 and Medicine at USD 6,500. After enrollment, students pay part of the fee to receive an embassy invitation letter and the full first year after arrival, with installments possible from the second year. Scholarships are currently unavailable, and siblings receive a 5% tuition reduction each.
