Admission at a glance

AUC's 2026-27 catalog sets its application target dates for 2027. Undergraduate degree applications close on 1 November 2026 for the Spring semester, and on 1 February 2027 (early admission) or 1 June 2027 (regular admission) for Fall 2027. Graduate degree applications close on 1 October 2026 for Spring 2027, and on 15 December 2026 (regular) or 1 April 2027 (late) for Fall 2027. The application fee is paid online, but its amount is not published. Non-Egyptian undergraduate applicants must show official evidence that at least US$33,000 is available for tuition, fees, travel and living expenses in the first year. Graduate applicants need TOEFL iBT 79 (writing 21), IELTS 6.5 (writing 7) or Cambridge 176, while undergraduates are placed by TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores. International students must pay tuition and fees in US dollars. After arrival, registration and residency are handled through AUC's Business Support Office; the residency visa costs EGP 7,100, and citizens of listed countries including Bangladesh must register their passports within seven days. Governmental approvals are valid for four years, and residency cards are renewed each year.
