TUJ bills tuition by credit hour; a full-time undergraduate course load of 12 to 18 credits costs JPY 910,000 a semester, or about JPY 1,820,000 for two semesters in a year. A non-refundable matriculation fee of JPY 434,100 applies once to every newly admitted degree-seeking student. Additional one-time charges include a JPY 20,000 enrolment deposit, a JPY 20,900 student visa application fee for those applying for a visa through TUJ, and a JPY 36,600 orientation fee.
