Rutgers University-New Brunswick is the largest and flagship campus of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. International students pay the same flat nonresident tuition rate as other out of state applicants, which Rutgers' own admissions site lists as 36,831 dollars in tuition and 4,008 dollars in fees for 2026 to 2027, for 40,839 dollars combined for the year. F-1 and J-1 visa holders also pay a separate 500 dollar SEVIS administration fee to Rutgers on top of tuition.
