Requirements
Bachelor (Medicine, long-cycle)
- A secondary school certificate qualifying for medical study in its country of issue, or, for the University GPA path, a completed BSc or MSc degree.
- Proof of English proficiency at CEFR B2 or above.
- One of three assessment routes: WUM's own Competency Test, an accepted external medical standardised test score (UCAT, BMAT, MCAT, GAMSAT or HPAT), or evaluation of an existing university GPA.
Note
WUM's English-taught offer at this level is the 6-year Medicine programme and the 5-year combined Medicine and Dentistry programme; both are long-cycle master's-equivalent programmes rather than separate bachelor's and master's degrees, and this record reports them under bachelor level to match the site's level categories.
Documents
Passport copy; secondary school certificate or prior BSc/MSc degree and transcript, as required by the chosen admission path; proof of English proficiency; and, depending on the path, either registration for WUM's own Competency Test or the applicant's external standardised test score.
How to apply
- Choose the applicable admission path: Competency Test, Medical Standardised Test Score, or University GPA (for existing degree holders).
- Register through the English Division's online recruitment system and pay the path's application fee (EUR 24 for the Competency Test, EUR 20 for the other two paths).
- Submit the required documents and, where applicable, sit the Competency Test or provide the external test score.
- Receive the admission decision.
- Pay the EUR 1,000 confirmation fee as a start-up payment toward tuition.
- Pay the first tuition instalment by 15 October (or the second by 15 February for the following term) and request the documents needed for the visa.
- Apply for the national type D student visa.
English test waiver
This minimum reflects the national floor the Ministry of Science and Higher Education set for every non-EU applicant to a Polish higher education institution, under its regulation of 30 July 2025 (Journal of Laws 2025, item 1045); WUM's own English Division pages did not separately publish a programme-specific figure on the pages reached this session, so no higher, WUM-specific bar is recorded. The application fee is EUR 24 for candidates applying through WUM's own Competency Test, against EUR 20 for the Medical Standardised Test Score path (accepting UCAT, BMAT, MCAT, GAMSAT or HPAT) or the university-GPA path for existing BSc/MSc holders.
