Requirements

Bachelor (Nursing, and the long-cycle Medicine and Pharmacy programmes)

  • A secondary school certificate qualifying for higher education, or, for the Premedical Course, a certificate suitable for a one-year preparatory programme.
  • English proficiency at CEFR B2 or above: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 59, TOEIC 785 (Listening and Reading), or an IB diploma with English at HL or SL.
  • MUG's own entrance exam (written test in biology and chemistry for Medicine, subject-appropriate content for Pharmacy and Nursing) plus an online interview.

Note

Medicine and Pharmacy are long-cycle programmes rather than separate bachelor's and master's degrees; this record reports them under bachelor level to match the site's level categories.

Documents

Diplomas, certificates and transcripts; an English language certificate; a passport copy; a photograph; and, for applicants under 18, a legal guardian's declaration, all submitted as scans during online registration. Original, legalised school-leaving certificates must be mailed to the Admissions Office after a successful outcome.

How to apply

  1. Choose a programme (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, the Sustainable Drug Discovery master's, or the Premedical Course) and check its own entrance exam content.
  2. Register online and complete the application form, scanning and submitting the required documents, including an English certificate.
  3. Sit MUG's own entrance exam in the chosen subject area, at one of several sessions offered across the year.
  4. Attend the roughly 20-minute online interview by video call, showing your face and identification.
  5. Receive the admission decision from the Admissions Committee.
  6. Pay the Orientation Week fee (PLN 3,100) within 30 days of acceptance, and the first tuition instalment by 15 October.
  7. Mail original, legalised documents to the Admissions Office, then apply for the national type D student visa.

English test waiver

Candidates holding an IB diploma with an HL or SL grade in English do not need to submit a separate English certificate. Cambridge B2 First and above, PTE Academic (59+), TOEIC (785 Listening and Reading) and a university degree already taught in English are also accepted, all at CEFR B2 or above, per MUG's own admissions FAQ.
