Requirements
Bachelor
Secondary schooling equivalent to New Zealand's University Entrance standard is required. The general English requirement is IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each band, TOEFL iBT 80 (minimum 19 in writing), PTE Academic 50 with a minimum of 42 in each communicative skill, or Duolingo English Test 105 with no band below 95. Teaching programmes require IELTS 7.0 in every component.
Documents
Certified secondary academic transcripts and certificates, English test results where required, and passport identification. Selected-entry programmes such as Aviation and Veterinary Science may require additional selection documents.
How to apply
- Check entry and English requirements for the chosen qualification.
- Submit the admission application before the published due date.
- Provide certified transcripts and English test evidence.
- Accept the Offer of Place and pay tuition fees.
- Apply for a New Zealand student visa using the fee receipt.
- Select courses and complete enrolment.
English test waiver
Teaching programmes require a higher Academic IELTS score of at least 7.0 in every component. Test results are valid for two years from the test date.
