Leiden University Tuition Fees 2027 for International Students

Leiden University is the oldest university in the Netherlands, teaching bachelor's and master's programmes in the humanities, law, sciences, social sciences and medicine. Non-EEA bachelor's tuition ranges from about EUR 14,300 to EUR 30,200 a year, and non-EU applicants needing a visa should complete their application by 1 April.

Non-EEA institutional tuition for 2026-2027 is about EUR 14,300 a year for most Humanities, Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences and Governance and Global Affairs bachelor's programmes, about EUR 18,700 for Science and Biomedical Sciences, and about EUR 30,200 for Medicine; Leiden University College The Hague charges EUR 17,570 plus a EUR 2,990 additional institutional fee. The statutory rate for eligible EEA students is EUR 2,694. A EUR 100 application fee applies to most applicants with an international degree.
