Requirements
First-year admission for the 2025-2026 session is through the combined admission test of the agricultural universities. Applicants must have passed SSC or equivalent in 2021, 2022 or 2023 and HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025 in the Science group, with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics; candidates who passed the 2024 SSC improvement examination may also apply. SSC and HSC must each show a GPA of at least 4.00 without the fourth subject, with a combined GPA of at least 8.50. O and A Level candidates need passes in at least five O Level subjects and at least two A Level science subjects, with a GPA of at least 4.00 in each examination and 8.50 combined, counting grade A as 5 and grade B as 4. Quota places are set aside for children of freedom fighters (3 percent), tribal and hill-district non-tribal candidates (1 percent) and candidates with disabilities (1 percent). The test is a 100-mark multiple-choice paper held on 3 January 2026, and the application fee is BDT 1,200.
