Requirements
Bachelor
A secondary school qualification recognised as equivalent to the Leaving Certificate, meeting the requirements of the chosen course; some programmes set specific subject requirements.
Master
A relevant undergraduate honours degree, normally second class honours grade 1 or equivalent GPA.
Documents
Academic transcripts and certificates, and evidence of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo). Griffith College's admissions pages do not state a separate application fee for international applicants.
How to apply
- Choose your course and campus, Dublin, Cork or Limerick, and check its entry requirements.
- Apply online through Griffith College's application portal; you may start your application before you have all documents ready.
- Submit transcripts and English test results.
- Receive a decision along with confirmation of any Griffith College Bursary or Academic Merit Scholarship awarded.
- Accept your offer, pay the required fees, and apply for your study visa.
English test waiver
General undergraduate minimum for most programmes is IELTS 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5, or Duolingo 105 to 115 overall with no component below 95. The Law and Communications programmes set a higher bar: IELTS 6.5, or Duolingo 120 to 125. Griffith also states a new-scale TOEFL iBT figure of 4.0 overall for most programmes (4.5 for Law and Communications), not directly comparable to the older 0-120 TOEFL scale used elsewhere in this database. English language support classes are provided at no charge to qualifying students.
