Requirements
Bachelor
- A secondary school certificate recognised for higher education, apostilled or legalised, with an official grading scale statement.
- English proficiency at CEFR B2: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72 (or 4+ on the post-2026 scale), PTE Academic 59, or an accepted Cambridge, Trinity or LanguageCert certificate.
- An entrance exam for Architecture, and a mathematics entrance exam for specific candidates whose certificate does not cover it.
Master
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- The same B2 English minimum as bachelor level.
- Programme-specific requirements set by the admitting faculty.
Documents
Secondary school certificate or matriculation certificate with official grading scale, apostilled or legalised (or recognised through Polish education boards or NAWA); proof of English proficiency at B2 level or above; a passport-format photograph; a legal guardian's declaration for applicants under 18; and, for Architecture or mathematics-track candidates, entrance exam registration. Original paper documents are submitted only during Registration Week after arrival.
How to apply
- Choose an English-taught programme and check its entrance-exam requirements.
- Register in eRekrutacja during the active intake window and pay the application fee (PLN 85, PLN 100 for the mathematics exam track, or PLN 150 for Architecture).
- Submit the required documents and sit any entrance exam.
- Receive the Offer Letter, then pay the minimum first semester's tuition by the stated deadline, typically about two weeks.
- Receive the Confirmation Letter once payment is recorded.
- Apply for the national type D student visa using the confirmation and admission documents.
- Attend Registration Week after arrival with original documents, passport and residence paperwork to complete enrolment.
English test waiver
TOEFL iBT taken after 21 January 2026 is reported on a new 1-9 scale, where a score of 4 or higher meets the requirement, in place of the previous 72-point (0-120 scale) minimum for earlier tests. TOEIC (785 Reading and Listening, 310 combined Speaking and Writing), Cambridge B2 First and above, Trinity ISE and LanguageCert certificates are also accepted, all at B2 level or above.
