African Leadership University Rwanda Scholarships 2027
African Leadership University's Rwanda campus in Kigali was founded in 2017 and is ALU's central campus. Total annual tuition is USD 3,000 for the BSc in Entrepreneurial Leadership and the BSc in Software Engineering and USD 4,000 for the BSc in International Business and Trade, and ALU charges no application fee. Applicants need English at CEFR B2, for example IELTS 6, TOEFL iBT 72 or Duolingo 100.
ALU Grants are need-based and apply to tuition only, as a fee waiver on the student's invoice, for the minimum degree completion time. ALU has partnered with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program since 2020, and the Mandela Scholarships are merit-based tuition awards with a first cohort in September and October 2026. Slots in each category are limited per intake.
