Addis Ababa University's fee schedule for non-Ethiopian students sets tuition per ECTS credit in US dollars, with lower rates for IGAD member and East African countries than for other international students; refugees pay the Ethiopian rate in birr. Other international students pay tuition of USD 150 per ECTS at undergraduate level, USD 225 for master's and USD 300 for PhD study in Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine and other health sciences; USD 90, USD 135 and USD 180 in software engineering, computer science, architecture and engineering; and USD 60, USD 90 and USD 120 in law, business, economics, social sciences and humanities.
