TOEFL Requirement for Singapore Universities: Minimum Score

Typical minimum: 92 (iBT) at NUS; 90 at NTU on the pre-2026 scale, rescaled to an overall 4.5 from January 2026.

NUS requires a TOEFL iBT score of 92 to 93. NTU's published minimum is 90 with a speaking score of 25 for tests taken before 2026; from January 2026 NTU reports TOEFL iBT results on a rescaled 0 to 9-style band and requires an overall 4.5 with speaking 4.5. SUTD accepts TOEFL among several tests but sets no minimum score.
