IELTS Requirement for Singapore Universities: Minimum Score

NUS and SUSS both publish an IELTS Academic minimum of 6.5 overall including reading and writing. NTU's published minimum is lower, at 6.0 overall with writing and speaking components at 6. SUTD requires a test but sets no published minimum, reviewing scores holistically. Treat 6.5 as the typical minimum for the more selective research universities and 6.0 as the floor across the sector.
