About the University of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka was established in 1921. This is the first university among the renowned universities of Bangladesh. This is the oldest university in Bangladesh. This is known as East Oxford. It is situated in Shahbagh of Dhaka. All the university students have to be associated with any hall as residential/non-resident students.
There are currently 21 residential halls for students. Apart from this, there is a separate hostel for the Faculty of Fine Arts and Business Administration Institute students and an international hostel for international students. There are 13 faculties, 83 departments, 12 institutes, and 56 research centers in the country’s oldest university. Besides, there are 20 residential halls and three hostels for students.
DU Admission Circular 2022-23
In the 2022-23 season, they submit the application form for Honors 1st-year admission to the University of Dhaka. Will be completed online, collect the pay-in-slip, submit the receipt of admission fees, registration of entries, etc. The applicant will be able to apply for the admission test from 27 February 2023. This year Dhaka University (DU) Admission Test 2022-23 will be held by MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) and writing both methods.

- The candidate will be passed the secondary or equivalent from 2017 to 2020.
- The candidate will be passed the HSC or equivalent this year (2022) in the science/agronomy section of any of the Education Board of Bangladesh.
- For Science Background: The applicant must have a minimum 8.00 GPA in SSC and HSC examinations. And a minimum 3.5 GPA, including 4th subject, in each of the secondary and higher secondary examinations.
- For Humanities & Business Studies Background: The applicant must have a minimum 7.5 GPA in SSC and HSC examinations. And a minimum 3.00 GPA, including 4th subject, in each of the secondary and higher secondary examinations.

How to apply for Dhaka University any Unit 2020-21
All faculty of Du admission will have to apply online for honors in the first year season 2022-23 from 27 February 2022-23.
How to apply online:
- First of all, go to the university’s official website http://admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
- Then you will see all of the notices and everything about admission. You need to read this information before apply.
- Then you need to click the “login” tab.
- After clicking the “login” tab, fill up this form according to your previous SSC and HSC admit card. Then click on “continue.”
- Then click “confirm.”
- Then provide your personal information.
- Al last confirms your application by clicking on the “confirm” tab.
