Foreign degree students in Peru apply to the National Superintendency of Migration, while outside the country, for training resident status covering undergraduate and postgraduate university study; it costs PEN 58.80 and gives a stay of 365 days, extendable for the same period. At PUCP in Lima, undergraduates pay PEN 304.60 to PEN 1,164.10 per credit in 2026, and master's applications for March 2027 close on 16 February 2027.
Apply to the university (PUCP Diploma de Bachillerato route for 2027-1 closes 20 January 2027).
Obtain proof of enrolment for studies of at least one year and apostille your documents.
Apply online from outside Peru for training resident status with passport, criminal record certificate, sworn statement of financial means and enrolment proof (PEN 58.80).
Extend the 365-day stay 30 days before it expires (PEN 20.20).
