Scholarships to Study in Malaysia (2027)

Malaysia teaches most of its international degree programmes in English and runs three yearly intakes, in February, July and September. Public universities are the cheapest route to a degree and private universities and foreign branch campuses offer more English-medium choice and faster admission, with the whole visa process run through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS).

EMGS's own guidance to prospective students notes that both the Malaysian government and individual institutions offer scholarships to international students, without publishing one central list or a fixed value; the practical route is to check each university's own scholarships page alongside any award offered by the student's home government or the Malaysian foreign mission.
