Scholarships to Study in Croatia (2027)

The University of Zagreb teaches Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in English along with a set of English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes, at 2026-27 fees from EUR 1,115 to EUR 7,500 a year outside the medical fields and EUR 10,000 to EUR 12,000 for them. A non-EU student gets a temporary stay for the purpose of studying, costing EUR 46.45, may work up to 25 hours a week under a May 2026 change to the law, and can stay up to a year after graduating to look for work.

The University of Zagreb states that it currently offers no financial assistance to foreign citizens. The Croatian government offers scholarships through bilateral higher education mobility programmes, with the number and type of scholarships differing by country, and scholarships for Croats living abroad of EUR 175 a month for ten months.
