Mahidol University Admission Requirements 2027

Mahidol University, which became a university in 1943 and traces its origins to Siriraj Hospital in 1888, runs English-taught bachelor's programmes at Mahidol University International College and international master's programmes on its Salaya campus. Foreign master's students pay THB 35,000 to THB 150,000 a semester from 2026, and MUIC undergraduates THB 135,135 a trimester. MUIC's overseas window for the January 2027 trimester runs 1 to 30 September 2026.

English test waiver

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) asks overseas undergraduate applicants for TOEFL iBT 69 overall with 22 in writing, 4.5 in writing on the new scale from 21 January 2026, IELTS Academic 6 with 6 in writing, or PTE Academic 50 with 50 in writing; applicants on the regular track without these scores take MUIC's own entrance exam and interview, and Duolingo 100 is listed for that track. MUIC's Master of Management asks for TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.0 and exempts native speakers and graduates from countries where English is an official language. Mahidol's Faculty of Graduate Studies sets no minimum English score for master's entry in its 2026 announcement, though programmes may set their own and all students must meet an English standard to graduate.
