For 2026 to 2027, ASU quotes combined tuition and fees of 42,809 dollars a year for a new international undergraduate in a base program: 39,062 dollars base tuition, a 350 dollar tuition surcharge, a 200 dollar technology fee, 2,190 dollars in undergraduate college fees, 807 dollars in student initiated fees and a 400 dollar international student fee. ASU's own estimate of the full cost of attendance, used for the visa financial certification, adds housing and meals of 18,819 dollars, books of 1,320 dollars, travel of 1,650 dollars, personal expenses of 2,343 dollars and health insurance of 2,765 dollars, for a total of 69,906 dollars for the year. Some majors carry their own differential tuition on top of the base rate.
