Private University Tuition in Bangladesh: BBA and CSE Totals Compared

This guide compares what a four-year BBA and a four-year B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering cost at 19 private universities in Bangladesh, using only each university's own published fee page, brochure or fee table. Every figure was checked against that source on 28 September 2026, and each university's name links to its fee page on this site with the source and further detail.

Totals for a full degree

The table is sorted by the BBA total, lowest first. Amounts are in Bangladeshi taka for the whole programme, before any waiver.

Read the totals with care

The universities do not add up their totals the same way. Some publish tuition only and charge admission and semester fees on top (Bangladesh University, BGC Trust, Southern, Gono Bishwabidyalay); others fold admission, semester, lab and examination fees into one figure. A low tuition-only total is therefore not directly comparable with an all-inclusive one, and the third column says which is which.

Waivers change the real cost a great deal. Most universities on the list cut tuition for strong SSC and HSC results, in several cases by half or more for GPA 5 in both examinations, and some also cut it for siblings or children of freedom fighters. East West University's per-credit rate applies from Spring 2026; Bangladesh University lowers tuition step by step for higher combined GPAs, down to BDT 1,00,000 in total for GPA 10 without the fourth subject.

Universities not in the table

American International University-Bangladesh publishes tuition per credit (BDT 8,000 for the BBA, BDT 8,500 for CSE, from Fall 2026-27) but no total per degree. Premier University in Chattogram publishes only the amount due at admission. BUBT's fee page says its latest fees will be published soon. Varendra University publishes only its fee schedule for foreign students, in US dollars; fees for Bangladeshi students appear inside its admission portal.

Fees change every intake, so confirm the current schedule on the university's own page before applying.
