Scholarships to Study in Poland (2027) for International Students

Poland runs a Bologna three-cycle higher education system across more than 130 public and roughly 250 private institutions, with English-taught bachelor's and master's programmes, including medicine, now common at the largest public universities. Non-EU applicants generally register through each university's own online recruitment platform, pay a tuition fee set per programme rather than one national fee table, and enter the country on a national type D visa before converting to a temporary residence permit for the length of the course.

NAWA, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, runs the main central scholarship programmes for foreign students, including schemes aimed at specific partner countries and fields of study. Its nawa.gov.pl site and study.gov.pl portal could not be reached this session (connection refused on every attempt), so current programme names and amounts are not stated here rather than sourced secondhand. Individual universities also publish their own merit scholarships for admitted international students on their own fees or scholarships pages.
