English-taught medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University

  1. Apply to the university with your school documents and English certificate; an online interview may follow.
  2. Receive the acceptance letter, which takes about five business days.
  3. Get your education recognised by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, submitting the acceptance letter and documents translated and notarised into Georgian, and return the recognition letter to the university.
  4. Apply for a D3 study visa at a Georgian mission; the decision takes up to 30 calendar days.
  5. Apply for a residence permit to the Public Service Development Agency at least 40 days before your visa stay ends.
