Fair Information Technology and Unimaginable success in the aviation sector has largely contributed to creating the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU).
The need was felt long ago to establish a higher educational institution to create aeronautical and aerospace professionals in the country. With this in mind, on 28 February 2019, the bill establishing the university was passed and raised by the Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.
Now the university is moving forward with a vision to become a leading international university in aviation, space, and technological studies through excellence.

BSMRAAU Location & Area
The Lalmonirhat Airport, abandoned since World War II, is set to be transformed into Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU). There is also a substation of this university in the capital Dhaka.
