What it is
Admission to nursing and midwifery courses in Bangladesh runs through one national test organised by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) under the Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery. The same test serves the four year BSc in Nursing, the three year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and the three year Diploma in Midwifery, with separate merit lists.
Who can apply
The BSc course requires a science background at HSC with minimum GPAs; the diploma courses accept candidates from any HSC group with lower GPA floors. Age limits and pass year windows apply and are set in each session's circular.
How the cycle runs
The council publishes a circular, opens online applications, holds the test on one date, publishes results and then runs institution allotment.
What this page will carry
This record is being verified against the current circular. Dates, fees and seat numbers for the 2026-27 session will appear here with the source once the council publishes them.
