Agricultural Universities Cluster Admission Test (Bangladesh)

How the test works

Nine agricultural and veterinary universities admit first-year students through one combined test. For the 2025-2026 session the test was a 100-mark multiple-choice paper on 3 January 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, at centres in all nine universities. Questions follow the 2025 HSC syllabus: English 10, Zoology 15, Botany 15, Physics 20, Chemistry 20 and Mathematics 20 marks. Each correct answer earns 1 mark and each wrong answer loses 0.25.

The merit list is made out of 150: the 100 test marks, plus up to 25 marks each from SSC and HSC results (without the fourth subject). Selected candidates choose universities and degrees in order of preference, and seats are filled by up to three rounds of automatic migration. A candidate confirms a place by paying BDT 10,000 online, which counts towards the admission fee.

Who can apply

Applicants must have passed SSC or equivalent in 2021, 2022 or 2023 and HSC or equivalent in 2024 or 2025 in the science group, with Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. SSC and HSC must each show a GPA of at least 4.00 without the fourth subject, with at least 8.50 combined. O and A Level candidates need at least five O Level and two A Level science subjects, with the same GPA limits, counting grade A as 5 and grade B as 4.

Fee and application window

The application fee is BDT 1,200, not refundable. Applications for the 2025-2026 session were open from 25 November to 15 December 2025.

Seats in 2025-2026

Quota places are set aside for children of freedom fighters (3 percent), tribal and hill-district non-tribal candidates (1 percent) and candidates with disabilities (1 percent).
