Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University is a specialized public Digital university in Bangladesh. It is the first specialized Digital university established in 2018 by the act Act No. 31 of 2017.

The university’s main goal is to make the young generation fit to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution through free information and communication technology by strengthening academy and industrial relations.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Details

The main object of establishing the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University is to gear up the digitalization process of the country. On 26 July 2016, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government enacted a law in the National Assembly to establish this university on a 50-acre site adjacent to Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park in Kaliakair, Gazipur District.
